Mo' Bettahs to Bring Bountiful, UT  (RestaurantNews.com)  Frisco is home to the Dallas Cowboys World HQ, The National Soccer Hall of Fame and The PGA of America – and the newest big winner to call the city home is Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food.

Located at 16803 North Coit Road, Suite 250, the new Mo’ Bettahs will begin serving up its authentic Hawaiian island barbeque on Friday, Dec. 8. The restaurant – which is the 6th location in the DFW area and the 49th systemwide – can be found right off U.S. Route 380/University Boulevard, next to Rock Hill High School and the soon-to-be-completed Daniel L. Jones Middle School.

The opening festivities begin on Thursday, Dec. 7 with a “Friends & ’Ohana” pre-opening event, at which complimentary lunch plates will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mo’ Bettahs founders Kimo and Kalani Mack will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by complimentary dinner plates served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Opening Day is Friday, Dec. 8, with service starting at 10:30 a.m. This restaurant’s regular operating hours will be Monday to Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

To keep the spirit of celebration going, Mo’ Bettahs will feature a special BOGO offer – Buy One Regular Plate, Get One Free – on Monday, Dec. 11.

“We’re thrilled to be sharing the flavors of authentic Hawaiian cooking throughout Texas,” said co-founder Kimo Mack. “It’s exciting to be growing our brand in the DFW Metroplex, and with multiple locations in the area, you’re never far from the Mo’ Bettahs grindz and aloha spirit!”

At Mo’ Bettahs, guests can immerse themselves in the island culture with authentic Hawaiian-style food, using only the finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy Hawaiian staples like its traditional plate lunch, featuring their choice of Mo’ Bettahs delectable meats – grilled teriyaki chicken or steak, kalua pig, pulehu chicken, katsu chicken or shrimp tempura – paired with the brand’s one-of-a-kind macaroni salad and steamed rice. The company just announced the popular Hawaiian snack, SPAM Musubi, has recently been added to the brand’s menu. This treat consists of a block of white rice seasoned with furikake, topped with a fried slice of SPAM, then glazed in Teri Sauce and wrapped in a nori seaweed blanket.
