Entry requirements to Germany have changed. You can travel to Germany from within the EU and Schengen Area or from a country with a low rate of COVID-19. You must provide either a negative COVID-19 test, or proof of vaccination, or evidence of having recovered from COVID-19. If you've stayed in a COVID-19 risk area within 10 days prior to entering Germany, you must register online. See 'Travel'. Widespread flooding has impacted parts of Germany. Follow the instructions of local authorities and monitor local news and social media for updates. We continue to advise: Do not travel to Germany due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
